The song “BloodLetter” explores love lost and the inevitable loss of loved ones by describing our characters’ resistance and acceptance of their fate. The video was made in collaboration with fine artists Louviere + Vanessa and visualizes the cyclical nature of memory, witchcraft and dreams. They say,”The video tells a tale of a man’s past regrets/mistakes that ultimately manifest themselves into a malevolent parallel universe. Or do they?”

“BloodLetter” is the second in a trio of releases/singles featuring Nuccio’s final recordings of music he wrote with Malevitus. All three songs were recorded in the spring of 2022 following the drummer’s two-year tenure with the band, before his untimely passing that August. The first of the singles, “SINISTER,” was released in tandem with the commemoration of Nuccio’s legendary musical career at Tipitina’s in October. The band’s third and final single with Nuccio is set to drop this Halloween.
