Celebration of Carlo Nuccio Sunday October 9th at Tipitina's

Carlo Nuccio, drummer, singer/songwriter, multi instrumentalist and raconteur wowed everyone who had the chance to meet him or see him play. He joined Malevitus in the summer of 2020 and we were thrilled. Carlo was a musical genius and could play any genre in any style. Although he gravitated towards pop/rock idioms, Carlo was also a punk. He’s inquired about joining the act early in our blooming but we doubted his seriousness and availability. Fate would have that opportunity open up for all of us.

The 2 years we spent a near constant weekly practice left us speechless, often, and with the distinct honor of holding his final studio recordings. It’s our privilege to release the 3 finished song this fall, winter and spring, as singles, with videos in collaboration with fine artist Louviere+Vanessa. The last time we saw him, he gave us notes for the mix and got to see the first video for our single, SINISTER. He loved it!

It is our great pleasure to join the ranks of brilliant artists and musicians honoring his music and legacy at Tipitina’s in New Orleans on Sunday October 9th 2022 and for all time.
